Friends,
Recorded during the sessions for late 2019’s album “Els Sepulcres Blancs”, we left “Solitud” as a Bonus Track to be published in the future by Season of Mist.
The pandemic suddenly cut all our plans for that album, which lived the shortest life cycle we could ever had imagined. Touring Europe as expected was simply impossible, as well as for the entire bands in the world at that 2020 time, and due to personal issues, our vocalist Fiar also had to take a step aside from the band’s duties for almost 2 years. All together put Foscor on hold for too long until last year, when we recorded a couple of personal covers from The Cure and Alice In Chains.
The future occasion has arrived, and as a tribute to all those lonely days most of us lived, this is a proper way to close that album cycle before definitely facing and closing the trilogy initiated in 2017 with “Les Irreals Visions”.
The song itself offers a vital closure, as the core of our personal way to conceive music. It reminds us the spark to enlighten the future…the one that we have never walked alone.
A brand new chant from the past, looking forward a final chapter… surrounded by tragic darkness…
